On the way back from a family holiday to the Lake District last autumn, we stopped at Tarn Hows for a quick walk. I have to give the credit to T for spotting the robin right next to us, otherwise I may have walked past oblivious. It happily sat in the tree to let me take some photos while I prayed it didn’t fly off.

Not ever having owned a zoom lens past 150mm, it’s the first time I had the chance to photograph a bird in detail and I was extremely happy with the results! C x
